This policy explains what information Nexi collects when you study with us, how we use it, and the choices you have. Nexi is operated by Nexlora Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales.

Information we collect

Account information. When you create an account, we collect your name, email address and authentication method. If you sign in with Google or GitHub, we receive the basic profile details those providers share. If you upload a profile picture, it is stored privately in our storage service.

Enrollment and placement information. During enrollment we collect your background, goals, learning preferences and your answers to the placement assessment, so we can place you at the right starting point.

Learning activity. As you use the school, we record lessons completed, assessment answers and scores, XP and levels, bookmarks, notes, code you write in the Coding Lab and projects you build, and your conversations with Nexi, our AI tutor.

Technical data. We collect minimal operational logs, such as error reports and security events, needed to keep the platform running and secure.

How we use it

Your data is used to run the school: to place you at the right level, to track your progress, to let Nexi teach you in context, to grade your assessments and to issue certificates. We also use aggregated, anonymised patterns to improve the curriculum and the platform. We do not use your personal data to train third-party AI models.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share it only with the infrastructure providers required to operate the platform — hosting, database, email delivery and AI processing — and only to the extent needed to deliver the service. We may disclose information if required by law.

AI features and your content

When you chat with Nexi, your messages, relevant learning context and code snippets are processed by AI models to generate responses. These conversations are stored so your tutoring is continuous and so you can revisit them. You can delete AI conversations at any time.

Data retention

We keep your account and learning data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is removed from our production systems, except where we must retain records for legal or security purposes.

Your choices

You can request a copy of your data, correct it, or ask us to delete your account at any time by contacting us at info@nexlora.app. You can also update your profile details and delete your notes and conversations directly in the platform.

Security

Access to your account is protected by authentication, and your data is protected by row-level access rules that restrict every student to their own records. No system is perfectly secure, but we design for least access and review our practices regularly.

Children

Nexi is intended for students aged 13 and above. If we learn that an account belongs to a child under 13, we will delete it and its data.
